Congratulations to Betty Buckley on receiving the 2014 “Outstanding Service Award” at the Beam of Light Award Ceremony!
Court clerks, law clerks, paralegals, legal secretaries, receptionists, and other legal support professionals play an integral role in the legal industry. To recognize the spirit and commitment of those individuals who assist the public and clients within the legal community, the Bar Foundation of Harford County hosts an annual “Beam of Light Award Celebration”.
The Beam of Light Award was established in 1998 in honor of Deborah J. Hall, a legal professional whose positiveness and commitment to excellent service brightened the lives of all the people she assisted on a daily basis. Recipients of the Beam of Light Award display an “all for one and one for all” attitude while empowering those around them through dignity, respect, exceptional service or mentoring. They go above and beyond the call of duty by supporting the work of all co-workers on behalf of both clients and customers, and by promoting a non-sexist, non-elitist, non-racist environment through valuing all clients, customers, and co-workers.
The Beam of Light Award Ceremony was held on January 15th at McGerk’s in downtown Bel Air from 4:30 – 6:30 pm.
