Snee Receives GBACF Thomas Broumel Award

On October 2, 2017, during a ceremony at the Maryland Golf and Country Clubs, Shareholder Joseph F. Snee, Jr. received the Thomas Broumel Award from the Greater Bel Air Community Foundation, Inc.  Snee is the second recipient of the Broumel Memorial Award.  It was given last year to Chuck Boyle, Dealer and President of Boyle Buick GMC.

The award is presented annually to a member of the Harford County community who exemplifies the late Tom Broumel’s enduring service and commitment to the community to make it a better place to live, work and play.  Broumel served the community as Chief of Police for the Town of Bel Air, Chief Deputy of the Harford County Sheriff’s Department, and State Fire Marshall.  He also served as a member of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Department, the Harford County Farm Fair Board, Chairman of the Planning Board and Vice-Chairman of the Town of Bel Air Commissioners.  Mr. Broumel also was a member of the Board of Directors of the GBACF.

Mr.  Snee is proud to receive the award in memory of Mr. Broumel and Chuck Boyle’s legacy of giving back to the Harford County community.
